The sculpture

Introducing Creative Freedom, an awe-inspiring elephant sculpture that beckons you to not only admire but also experience its tactile wonder.

Crafted with a blend of artistic techniques, the sculpture comes alive through the artistry of acrylic paint, spray paint, and metallic accents. The carefully chosen shades of blues, radiant pinks, and shimmering gold create a visual symphony that resonates with the vibrancy of our diverse human experiences.

What sets Creative Freedom apart is its invitation to touch and explore. The rich textures, enhanced by dynamic paint splatters, encourage a hands-on engagement that bridges the gap between art and audience. This sculpture is a vibrant embodiment of the idea that true expression knows no boundaries, reminding us that our individual narratives weave together to form the colourful tapestry of our city's identity.

Creative Freedom is more than a sculpture; it's a call to action, an ode to the freedom to create, to touch, and to connect. It captures the spirit of individuality and unity, inviting everyone to leave their mark, both literally and metaphorically. This sculpture stands as a symbol of artistic exploration and serves as a reminder that embracing our unique perspectives and engaging with the world around us is how we shape a more vibrant and interconnected community.

"As well as being extremely eye-catching and attractive for the trail and auction, there are deeper reasons for this choice.Elephants never forget and the memory of a loved one lives on after they have died, with Havens Hospices helping to create those treasured memories"

The public's reaction

Designing and painting the 'Creative Freedom' elephant sculpture in Southend-On-Sea was an exciting experience for me. It was my first time being part of a public art trail in this area, and it was great to work with Havens Hospice on this project. I had previously painted the elephant sculpture multiple times before, but this was the first time creating an abstract artwork on one. It was a challenge that I embraced with enthusiasm, and I thoroughly enjoyed the creative process.

People have loved visiting Creative Freedom outside the station. It's on display in a fantastic location. The sculpture stands out in the location nicely and as you can see from the photos below, ImaginHare is loved by locals and visitors. Partnering with my sculpture sponsor

The sculpture is sponsored by Method-IT, a IT specialist business based in Southend-on-Sea who were very proactive and supportive throughout the project. They took progress photos and showed a genuine interest in the sculpture's development, which was fantastic. A special shoutout to Tommy Hall-Brown, Rebecca Branton and Founder and Managing Director of Method, Matt Sullivan for being proactive sponsors.

"Before deciding on a design for our elephant, we knew it needed to be unique. Once we saw MrASingh’s amazing design, the whole team at Method knew it was the one! The design is called ‘Creative Freedom’ and the name fits the design perfectly."
